Striking 12 Merchandise

Subtitled "a rewired version of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Match Girl," this clever and inventive concert-musical written by Brendan Milburn, Rachel Sheinkin & Valerie Vigoda features the acclaimed New York-based pop-folk-rock trio GrooveLily (Valerie Vigoda, Brendan Milburn and Gene Lewin). Combining honest old-fashioned uplift with a healthy dose of 21st-century skepticism, it tells the tale of an incandescent salesgirl whose holiday spirit can't be matched. Striking 12 was recorded live during performances at Symphony Space in New York City in September of 2004, and it comes with a full-color, 32-page CD booklet complete with lyrics, photos, and illustrations.
