About This Venue
This Broadway theater originally opened in 1913 as The Globe. In 1958, it was renovated and renamed for the legendary couple of the theater: Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. The sightlines in this theater are the best in the city and even though the space is large it has a wonderfully intimate quality. The Lunt-Fontanne has a seating capacity of 1,492.
